About us.

Tigger and fluff sleeping soundly Diana and I moved up to Berwick-upon-Tweed in October of 2006 and were joined a few months later by Tigger and Fluff.

Ian Kille I trained as a geologist and researched an extinct volcano on the Isle of Mull. Following this I worked in the computing and telecommunications industry as a change manager. The move to Berwick gave me the opportunity to have some fun providing hospitality in our home and to mix this up with some creative ceramic work and my love of nature and walking.

My partner Diana is a freelance educational researcher. As an associate lecturer with the Open University she runs post graduate and PGCE courses. She is an international expert on teaching music to Muslims and is currently researching the relationship between spirituality and music for her second book.

Both of us are very involved in the life of Berwick in various capacities and are keen classical musicians playing French horn and trombone in local orchestras and other groups.

Fluff the cat Tigger the cat

Fluff is an elegant little madam, has a mean right hook when roused and plays a brilliant game of ping pong. Tigger (aka Kelvin S. Leopard) likes to eat whenever he can get away with it and is 30% dog.
