The two bedrooms available at Northumbrian House are in the grand front range of the house looking out into Berwick's most beautiful street as well as one of its oldest.
Comfort and style work with discreet technology in the rooms so that guests have access to wireless broadband, flat screen TVs which work with DVD, audio CDs, MP3 and provide freeview programmes as well as digital radio. Fairtrade teas, coffee and other drinks are available along with biscuits and the occasional home made cake.
The Red Room:
A spacious double room with a king-size Louis XV hand-carved walnut bed swathed in luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and plump goose down pillows. The room has two marble topped bedside tables and a spacious mahogany wardrobe. There are also chairs and a table to relax in the room.
An even more spacious family room with two single Louis XV hand-carved walnut beds swathed in luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and plump goose down pillows. Two additional beds are tucked away as a divan when not in use. The room is well provided with tables and chairs and has a 32" television and a DVD. For rainy days, there is a drawer of games, and a box of toys.
